  • What is your pet policy?

    Our property features A VERY LIMITED NUMBER OF FIRST FLOOR PET ROOMS.  Your intented pet stay must be announced and approved prior to check in date.  If you arrive with a pet and we were NOT made aware of this, you may have to seek alternate arrangements for your pet.  We have many guests who do NOT want to stay in a pet room for allergy reasons, so we do our best to accommodate.  If you choose to bring your pet and stay in a non-pet room, you will be charged a $500 cleaning fee.  This is non-negotaible.  



  • Where do I check in?

    Right at the door to your room! Prior to your arrival, you'll receive a text message from us with your room number and a unique key code. That distinctive code will unlock your door.

  • Can I check in at the front desk if I want to?

    Sea Gate utilizes a virtual front desk. Check-in is conducted via email and text message through which all pertinent information will be provided.

  • What if I plan to arrive before 4 PM?

    Early check-in cannot be guaranteed. If you do plan to arrive early, please let us know as soon as possible so we can do our best to accommodate. If you need to arrive earlier than 1 pm, please consider booking the night prior. Contact us for details.

  • Where can I park?

    Each room comes with one complimentary parking space. If you are traveling with a group and plan to have multiple vehicles, please contact us for additional parking instructions.

  • What time is check in and check out?

    Check in time is at 4pm dailty and check out time is by 11 AM daily.  

  • How do I check out?

    Feel free to text us to let us know that you've hit the road - it's that simple!

  • How can I request late checkout?

    Late check out requests are subject to availability and can not be guaranteed. If available, late check outs will incur an additional fee of $25 per hour. Check outs of 1:00 pm or later will be subject to a full day charge. Please contact us regarding further questions.

  • How can I connect to the Wifi?

    Wifi is complementary to all guests and does not require a passcode. Simply connect to the SeaGate network.

  • Can I smoke?

    The Seagate Inn is smoke-free. If evidence of smoking is detected in a guest’s room, we

    will charge an additional fee of $350 (plus taxes) to the guest to cover cleaning.

  • Is there a hotel bar or restaurant on-site?

    No, Sea Gate Inn does NOT have an on-site bar or restaurant but there are several great

    places to eat within walking distance. Just ask and we’ll give you a few of our local

    favorites.

  • Will guests have access to an onsite fitness center?

    Unfortunatley, there is no on-site fitness center available, but we can recommend a few of our favorite places for yoga, pilates or a quick workout! Also, we are located across the street from the beach, which is an excellent place to hone in on your mediation skills.

  • Where can I dispose of trash or pet waste?

    Trash and recycling, or pet waste can be disposed of in designated bins in

    the parking garage next to the luggage carts. Please text us for assistance, if

    necessary.

  • Does Sea Gate Inn have quiet hours?

    Yes, we ask that you respectfully observe quiet hours of 11:00 pm to 7:00 am.

  • What is your cancellation policy?

    Group bookings of 5 or more rooms are subject to our Group Booking Terms & Conditions. Please contact info@seagatessi.com for more information. 


    Cancellations or modifications to your reservation must be made no later than 4 pm EST, 1 week (7 days) prior to the arrival date. Any cancellations or modifications within 1 week of the arrival date or no-shows will forfeit the one night’s deposit (room + tax). To modify a reservation, please email or call. All cancellations are subject to a $25 transaction fee per room. Cancellations are considered confirmed cancellations upon receipt of a cancellation email. Modifications are considered modified on receipt of a revised confirmation email. If you do not receive the aforementioned emails, please call or email us. Group bookings of 4 or more rooms are subject to an alternative group cancellation policy. Bookings of 7 nights or more are subject to an alternative extended stay cancellation policy. Thank you so much for understanding and working with us on this. We are a small hotel and all of our rooms matter.

  • What types of appliances do the rooms have?

    Each kitchenette has a standard microwave, dishwasher, and electric stovetop. There is NO large oven-only a small toaster oven. If you bring your own groceries, please plan accordingly (i.e the small toaster oven cannot accomodate cooking large pizzas).


    The coffee maker uses standard coffee grounds. Please feel free to bring your own coffee grounds if you'd like, but we do provide both caffeinted and decaffeinated coffee.  


    Each room includes an in-house washer and dryer.

  • When will my card be charged after booking?

    We charge the first night's rate plus tax upon making the reservation. We charge the remainder of the room night's rates plus tax on the day of check in.
